christmas was great. spent it at my aunt's house. ate til my stomach hurt. i got some dope presents and it was nice to see everyone enjoy the gifts i spent so long shopping for. =) strange thing happened at the end of the day though. my car wouldn't start and we couldn't jump it or anything to get it to start. but my uncle said, let's try one more time and he got it to start. strange huh? well we're gonna get it fixed/checked tomorrow. my poor temperamental car.. hehe.

ALSO now im sick. =T i had a fever last night and it's finally went away a couple of hours ago. i hope im all better now, cuz i spent all day in bed. i hate being sick. hopefully it'll go away soon. ive been pretty proud of myself, not getting sick through steph's ups and downs with her cold and cough. and just not getting sick in general... and it just seems super strange to me because im at home where i actually eat and sleep well... you'd think that i'd get sick at my apt where i sleep at 2am and dont eat regularly. strange...

well im gonna go now. get some more rest... or just watch tv maybe? =)

so i haven't written in 10 days. but it's been a wonderful ten days... lots of sleep, shopping, chillin', eating, more shopping, reading, working, chillin and did i mention shopping? the only gift i have yet to get is for my mom and that is actually the hardest gift because she's hard to shop for. (is it just me or are all moms hard to shop for?) i need to finish two paintings for my grandparents and im basically done with my christmas shopping. jeremy and i have combed through more malls that we can possibly count in our multiple trips to fashion, mission, horton, north county and utc... some even multiple trips in the same day! but it was fun, minus the hassle of finding parking. =)

i worked a few days and i had to do some hard labor at work. we're trying to remodel the PAL office so i had to put everything in boxes that belonged to summerbridge. there is a LOT of stuff in there... so yeah that was kinda tiring. i finished reading 2 harry potter books in two days and i started the fourth book but i forgot to bring it home to LA. darnit... i was real excited about finishing it too... even though i know im gonna be bummed when i do because i have to wait for the 5th book. the stories are so interesting and i love it! i feel like a kid again and i love that a bzillion of kids love it too... =) ive been to barnes and noble several times too so ive spent more money there than i like to think about. =T it's been a fun past week. spent most of my time with jeremy and we did a lot of sleeping. we even played family feud with steph, jimmy, mayrin and phil. =) phil's hilarious... he never fails to crack me up with his charisma. haha.

watched ocean's eleven. it was a GREAT movie. an enthusiastic two thumbs up from JASMINE! even though it was tough to watch cuz i had a massive headache that made my experience less enjoyable... it was an awesome movie. =) the men are beautiful... especially my boyfriend BRAD PITT... he just keeps get more and more sexy everytime i see him. he is gorgeous. (alright stop drooling jas) and yeah julia roberts was classy as ever... and it was just a great movie. it wasn't slow and it flowed well... two thumbs way up! im dying to see harry potter still.. i haven't seen it yet cuz i haven't found anyone to watch it with. jeremy's not too interested in watching it so i'll probably watch it this weekend with my brother and sister. im sooo looking forward to that. some other movies that im interested in are "the majestic" (they're calling jim carrey the next jimmy stewart... wow!) "i am sam" (sean penn's character is amazing and the little girl is so sweet)... and im kinda interested in seeing "kate and leopold" but im not sure... i love meg ryan but it doesnt seem like a great movie to me. so yeah... movies galore!!

some of the feelings ive been having and WHY

HAPPY: i saw some guy help out this old lady on my way to class on 10th week. she was carrying lots of boxes and was struggling to get down price center's steps and he just came by and carried it all for her. how sweet huh? i think i was too engrossed in the moment cuz when i realized that i was STARING i was kinda embarrassed. o'wells... how often do you see something like that huh?
SAD: my gramma's feeling sick and she's having digestive problems. my mom says it's not the cancer that's bothering her but her eating habits. i dunno... im just sad about it. i hope she feels better and ive been praying every night...
HAPPY: about my grades.. i think i did pretty well considering the FEW amount of hours i spent studying this quarter. Children's Lit (A-) I think it was my Harry Potter paper that gave me that A- cuz i got at B- on my midterm paper. woo hoo! HDP1 (B+) YAY... i didnt study much for this final so yay!!! PSYC 101 (B) and ICAM 40 (A-) woo hoo! that surprised me because i didnt think i did that great on my projects but yay for my cute TA Brody.. he's a cute fella but yeah, yay for the A-. TEP 139 P ... yay!!! i haven't gotten two A's in a LOOONG time... so yeah that's making me quite happy.
COLD: i'm finally back in LA (well since sunday) and it's so cold... i dont remember being so cold in my apt. maybe it's our warm couch or something but it's super cold here... and my toes are always irritated cuz they're cold. i think im more sensitive to the cold than i should be because i see girls that go out in hoochie skimpy clothes in 50 degree weather and i cringe. just cuz i could never do that... i'd be freezing. also considering the fact that i grew up in COLD south dakota for 6 years in the SNOW area, you'd think that i wouldnt be so sensitive. owells, i like cuddling with my blankets anyway.

so finals week has come and gone.. let's hope i did alright on my finals... fingers crossed.

ive done a lot of shopping these past two days. it's been fun. ive been to about 4 malls and some of them on multiple times too.. haha. i love shopping! there is something relieving about shopping esp after a hard and tough finals week. =) im almost finished with my gift list too... so double fun!

i love not having anything to do... it's exhilarating... im working this week but it's alright, time to make some more money to make up for all that SHOPPING. hehe...
